ICDL GCC Foundation, in association with Shell in Oman has announced Shell’s support for the Omani government's initiative to adopt the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) programme in public education, by sponsoring the testing and certification of 2,300 teachers in the ICDL program, in cooperation with Oman Ministry of Education and Ministry of National Economy. Shell has allocated US$ 150,000 to fund the ICDL project, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in the region.
